Review of Black Death (2010) by Philip D — 30 Jul 2011
Sean Bean moans his way through a tedious exercise in freshman level religious commentary. The whole thing is just miserable; there are no good characters, nobody to relate to, and no redemption at the end.
It's more realistic and in some ways better crafted than the similarly-themed "Season of the Witch", but at some point the movie has to entertain, which this fails to do.
