Review of Black Death (2010) by Mario H — 02 Sep 2011
Visually appealing throughout, Black Death's only downfall is that the casting relies too heavily on Sean Bean and Eddie Redmayne, who carry the film nicely, but could have used some bigger names in the supporting roles.
The film does reach extremely graphic levels of gore and violence, but its style and thought-provoking subject matter regarding the views of religion and death make this film worthwhile.
