Review of Black Death (2010) by David B — 19 Aug 2012
Sometimes, I'm not really into this sort of thing but gave it a chance. The medievil setting was great, setting up what I thought would be good film but it was slow, even though the storyline about a plague and finding the people responsable was good enough excuse to cause some carnage, it wasn't as shocking as I thought.
Acting was so-so but didn't feel for the characters when in trouble and some of the "shocking" scenes weren't really that good. Sean Bean I believe is getting typecast but did his best against a simple yet weak script.
Worth a look if you like this sort of thing.
