Review of Black Dahlia (2006) by Jim S — 25 Nov 2008
Let's make a movie about one of the biggest unsolved murders in history, then not really talk about it for a while, then make up the ending to give everyone closure. Performances were sub-par all around, the noir feel was poorly used, the special effects in the body were oh-so-incredibly cheesy, you tend to laugh at the corpse rather than feel sorry or disgusted, and it's so poorly written, you could probably find a better plot on a Oral-B toothbrush.
All-in-all, I expected much better from you, Mr. DePalma.
