Review of Black Dahlia (2006) by Mike P — 22 May 2011
Part of me wonder if the three-hour original edit is actually good. The other part of me doesn't want to sit through another hour of that.
The dinner with the Lindscotts/Spagues, was probably the best scene in the movie and the only one to nail the tone of the parallel sequence in the book. I generally don't like to compare book and film head on like that, but this scene was pretty good and the reason it gets one star.
