Crap! I watched the remake instead of the original. Pretty uncreative, unfunny, and had no chemistry. But at least it wasn't a beat for beat remake. Weird and gross and the scares were as fake as the snow.
It wasn't entertaining or fun or scary, just gory and messy. They took it too serious when making it, but that's probably studio interference. One redeeming quality: the nutcracker music in the background.
And it looked good at least, especially with the colour.
