Review of Black Book (2006) by Scott W — 20 Jan 2009

I can't remember the last movie I saw that was this brutally depressing. It is just unbelievable what this girl goes through both during and after the war. It really is terrific filmmaking that keeps you on the edge of your seat, and keeps you guessing as to who is good and who is evil.

Knowing the final outcome when the movie starts does take away from it a bit. But it will certainly be a film that will stick with you for quite some time.
