Incredibly violent and sexy at the same time but what else would you expect from director Paul Verhoeven. Lots of twists and turns make this two and half hour movie a joy to watch. Carice van Houten is perfect in the role of a strong and determined underground operative in WWII Netherlands.
Emotions were raw but understated; you see it boiling just under the surface but never over-the-top. (Jennifer Garner take note...).
