Review of Black Book (2006) by Aaden N — 02 Jul 2009
Well, it's a good production with its moments, but to me, the characters are entirely unbelievable ? at least in how they are used through the story. Or in the lead?s case, her overall look was always too pristine.
The execution of the action was a bit outlandish, but the moral center of the plot and characters is good. The look of the production is also very good. However, it was much, much longer than I thought it would be and, again, a plot that is very coincidental and mostly predictable for a "mystery".
I thought the movie could end after certain parts, then it would pick up something else, then breeze by it for something else. That made it a little frustrating. Another of those perfect medium movies.
