Black Adam is an entertaining but ultimately very generic superhero movie that doesn't do anything to break new ground in the genre or make it stand out from even other DCEU projects. I can appreciate the small unique aspects of the movie, its attempts at thematic elements, and the fact it's entertaining for a one-time watch, but it lacks so much charm and the Rock's ego truly overshadows the film.
Everything else in it is just so generic, bland, and off the shelf. It feels factory-made and, honestly, might be worth saving for a watch on streaming rather than a trip to the theater. People here are giving it way too much credit cause they want it to succeed.
