Biutiful is an absolutely beautiful film in both a scenic and dark way. The movie could be classified into multiple genres. First and foremost the drama creates the immense sadness which is then deepened by the nuances of a few horror type scenes.
Bardem plays the lead role perfectly alongside the brilliant supporting roles. Although this movie seems complex it doesn't live many questions unanswered. Concludes with a sad yet pleasing ending.
