"Biutiful" 10 Scale Rating: 8.0 (Great) ...
If you can't handle subtitles, then don't bother. You'd be missing out on a great film, but subtitles aren't for everyone.
Taking place in the slums of Barcelona, Spain, Javier Bardem plays a man with kids who finds out he has terminal cancer. Long ago turning to the underworld for a living, he now wonders how his family will survive without him.
Bardem was fantastic as always. The movie does get slow at times, but it ends up being worth it as just about every scene is integral to the story.
