Somehow, it seems to me like it would be a much more interesting novel than how it is as a film. Very talkative and, apart from some of the sex scenes, does not possess many great cinematic moments. The music too was very odd and at important moments, like the new year's eve party.
Interesting story, but overall is just really odd.
