Review of Bitter Harvest (2017) by Anna F — 26 Feb 2017

I'm not sure what the critics' problem is with Bitter Harvest. Hollywood has a long tradition of cloaking enormous human tragedies in romantic melodramas - Titanic comes to mind here. This movie is attempting to make palatable a tragedy beyond comprehension.

The scenery and cinematography are gorgeous, the cast is splendid and the ending is beautifully poetic . I strongly recommend you see this movie in a theater to best appreciate the beautiful cinematography.
