Review of Bitter Feast (2010) by Timothy N — 31 Dec 2011
Impressive. Bitter Feast offers so much. A depressed and angry food critic held prisoner and tortured, a celebrity chef gone insane, and a remote house in the woods for where the torture can begin.
Bitter Feast is a real treat. The characters are dark and multi-layered, and lack morals only thinking of themselves and their 'mission'. James LeGros is absolutely amazing. He plays creepy well. Perhaps too well haha. His blank stare gives chills, and his methods of torture were original to say the least.
Bitter Feast must be seen. One reason is for the great characters and struggle, the other is to demonstrate exactly what can be done with great writing, characters, and a low budget.
