I gave this movie a 3-star because of the originality of the vampire and a hopeless romantic. In addition, it is nice to see the humor of men attacking the feminist perspective a little bit. The story also gets into what most people are looking for: love and companionship from another person.

Unfortunately, already a paramedic taking care of people, Jack takes in and cares for a woman who happens to be a vampire. He falls for her and she falls for him, he showers her with compliments, which would scare a normal girl away, but since she, for some reasons thinks she needs him, she uses his weakness against him: the fact that he's a hopeless romantic and she pretty much pretends to be in love with him.

It seems like he gets nothing out of the relationship except cleaning up her mess. I'll give the good first and then the bad.The Good: The vampire itself was brought back to a creature that simply needs blood.

Human blood. Not animal blood. Not cold bagged blood. Warm human blood. There is no stopping the cravings. Erica Cox was definitely sexy and played the part well. Nude too. Jay did a great job too, as a hopeless romantic looking for love.

In the end credits, you got to see his great asshole jerk comments. But he managed to play a serious part. The other good is a bit of the showing how crazy women can be sometimes. And whether with a vampire or just a human, Jay found that women are never satisfied.

As Jay was cleaning up the messes the vampire made, you got to hear the comedic songs which turned the movie into a joke, which is why it can't receive an extremely harsh review. The Bad: 1) At some points in the movie, you had to wonder why the crazy contact lenses that Erica seemed to struggle with.

. it looked as if she was trying to keep the contacts in while trying not to tear up. About 5 dead bodies were in the apartment for several days. While a comment was made that the bodies would smell and another stating that they wouldn't.

. bodies will eventually rot and stink up the place. And anyone who cam into the apartment didn't even seem to notice! 3) Literally low budge film, two scenes were where everything took place. In the ambulance area and in the apartment, often in one bedroom and the kitchen.

The vampire even wanted to go out at one point and her offer was declined due to the main character not wanting to take her out. Seriously dude? Your lucky to have such a woman you found in the garbage.

.. you couldn't take her out? Show her off a bit? Have her kill people outside of your apartment instead of inside so that you could do yourself a favor and get some sleep instead of cleaning up the mess? The Neutral: A great revenge to .

. attempt to have sex in front of your dead ex-girlfriend.Overall: Good to watch once, if you are a fan of vampire movies. If not, unless you find Erica Cox sexy and Jay's humor funny, and unless you are looking for a movie with a little bit more action, than move on.

Every story has a moral. The moral of this story: Don't pick up women who are left out in the trash. Women can be trouble. And sometimes, it's just better to be single than with some needy bitch.
