Review of Bitten (2007) by Hugh J — 18 May 2009
Not a good movie, but I liked it. First off, Jason Mewes gets to say some pretty funny shit. Plus, I liked the variation of his usual schtick. Secondly, Erica Cox is fucking game. She's not the hottest chick to bust out with the nudity and the sex scenes but she's definitely easy on the eyes.
Thirdly, while the music didn't always fit the scenes they were used in, I still fucking dug it. The fact that the film didn't take itself too seriously definitely upped its charm factor. Lastly, I actually liked the three main characters and would've liked to have seen more of them, especially before the whole vampire incident.
It sucks that there are obvious limitations with the budget and the plotline of the film but despite the uneven acting, I liked the three of them a lot and that made me want a happier ending. Still, it's a decent flick that's sure as shit ain't for everyone.
I found some things to like, though.
