I did not expect so much out of this movie. So, I was amazed at Nicolas Cage's performance; he showed quite a range of real seeming emotions. Although the story line is a little strange--Matthew Modine thinks he's a bird--it was still excellent.
I couldn't believe the ending. It took my breath away.
