Review of Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) by Fad C — 16 May 2015
One of the best movie experiences I've had in years. Thought-provoking on so many levels, superbly acted, superbly directed (it feels like one whole take) and my eyes were glued to the screen from start to finish.
I don't understand why people come to see movies if you don't like or appreciate Birdman. Alejandro Gonzàlez is so talented it blows my mind. He uses filmmaking as an art form and uses it to stimulate thoughts and emotions which would not be able just through words.
There isn't a single bad thing that pops to my mind when watching this movie. It's a masterpiece.
