Review of Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) by Jess_Hill — 11 Jul 2015
Utterly compelling, confounding and complex in equal measure, this is a must see film. Phenomenal cinematography and brilliant performances by the exceptional cast made this a film during which your attention won't waver.
The storyline is both darkly comic and tragic, and the pacing is done beautifully. Whilst this will not appeal to a mainstream audience, this multilayered tragicomedy is masterfully directed and will stay with you well after the credits roll.
