Review of Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010) by Alexander L — 05 Apr 2013
This film not only exceeds expectations as a cult classic remake of Arnold Hitchcock's famed movie film in theatres, Le Birds Extreme, but sets new grounds for acting, romance, thrills, terror shocks and especially special effects. The acting from well-known actors such as Zoya Bikkibokkoocoggidubbinuwwubnus and Billy 'You're-gonna-sell-me-some-gas" Man (as well as a cameo as Daniel Day-Lewis at Nat's mom) excels in almost every respect. The romance rivals that of Passion of the Christ 3: Passion Levels Critical, the thrills that of When Harry Met Sally 2: More Harry, More Sally and the horror that of the hit 1990 horror classic Big Momma's House 3, Like Father Like Son. The issues dealing with global warming are certainly subtle, yet completely valid, relevant and make sense to our modern world generation of people. To miss this underrated gem of motion picture would not only be a sin against America and what it stands for, but also to yourself. If you don't see this movie, we won't be angry, just disappointed. And remember, a day without Birdemic is a day wasted.
