Review of Bird Box (2018) by Lilkillpappy — 21 Dec 2018
Trite, sappy, full of plot holes, never goes anywhere. The one big mystery of what the heck is actually going on is all but forgotten and ignored by the end. They try to make it some allegory about motherhood, but the film lacks the subtly and good writing required to actually pull that off.
Overall, it's pointless and leaves you feeling like you wasted your time. Saundra Bullock does a great job of acting, that's the one good thing about it.
