Review of Bio-Dome (1996) by Peter H — 17 Jan 2011
BIO-DOME [1996]: This is one Annoying, Stupid, Lame, Piss-poor, immature and most Godamm awful 1990's comedic crap-fest ever shitted by a Hollywood studio. I knew I should have avoided this film after viewing the comedic and brilliant review of THE NOSTALGIA CRITIC about Bio-Dome but oh no silly me and my zombie like DVD buying mode I picked this title up as a part of a double feature pack with FREDDY GOT FINGERED [2001]. Now a few days later I've seen both films and oh my god are they terrible, BIO- DOME is astoundingly dumb I mean this film suffers from a heavy dose of ESP ( Extremely Stupid Protagonists) and nothing is salvageable from this comedic train wreck.
The Plot; On Earth Day in 1996, Bud (Pauly Shore) and Doyle (Stephen Baldwin) are tricked by their eco-conscious gals to come out and save the environment, but in the process the two get stuck inside the Bio-Dome, An experimental environmental vacillate which 5 scientist will try to create a small world where the group can live in harmony with the environment. But when the two idiots become trapped in the dome the entire one year project is jeopardised by these two Nit -witted clowns.
To make things even more annoying the script is the HORRIBLE "comedic" talents of Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin as the hapless idiots. Every time they were on screen I just wanted the director to shot out "Stop, Please, just Stop while got shoot myself". Anyway for anyone curious about this film that hasn't seen it just view the Nostalgia Critic's review of this trash. 4/10.
