Review of Biloxi Blues (1988) by Nadia H — 08 Sep 2007
Anyone who ever loved christopher Walken is really going to go nuts over his role as Sgt Toomey. Walken steals scenes and masters the epitome that is a drill sergeant. The screenplay was written by the playwrite, Neil Simon whose writings were loosely based on his life experiences.
Simon has a way of combining fact and fiction in just the right ballance to keep the story believable.
