MGM's colorful circus musical is an old-fashioned delight marred only by an over-the-top finale with a pedestrian song ("Sawdust, Spangles & Dreams") by Roger Edens; Rodgers & Hart's songs, from the original 1935 production at the Hippodrome, include "My Romance," "Over and Over Again," and "Little Girl Blue.
