Review of Billy Elliot (2000) by Erik M — 22 Feb 2010
Between 2.5 and 3. Tries to play a lot with the concept of homosexuality, when I think they should just have skipped that issue to express better the message. Great scenes about the laboral conflict in Britain, and the way the family affronts what the son is deciding.
Sometimes funny, sometimes too much melodramatic -too much 'soft'. In any case, a good song to freedom, and about the way you must react about a close one with a special dream.
