Such a wonderful movie. It is about a kid who wants to be a Ballet dancer while his dad wants him to be a boxer. It is set in the 1984-85 miners strike in UK. Taught me some new English lingo. I wondered at times if the characterisations were a bit mature for 11 year olds.
Especially the scene where Billy is supportive of his friend's homosexuality and the pillow fight scene with Debbie. Tearjerker at times and funny all the time!
