Unfortunately just a bad plot with nothing compelling. Has some great scenes though, mostly in Texas and at the end on the ice flows. There's that touch of Ken Russell and whenever it's there the movie briefly becomes more interesting.
. unfortunately when he holds back the whole thing collapses.
