What an inspiring man and a captivating story. I particularly love his 'fashion is the armour which protects us against the battles of life' philosophy. There are some quite touching moments and fascinating insights into the world of NYC.
I can't believe Carnegie Hall kicked him and his 96 year old friend out of their amazing artist flats after they'd been there for so many years only to convert the studios into soulless office spaces.
Certainly a lack of foresight or empathy going on there. I need to create something now.
