Cosby proves that he is a comedic legend. This movie prides itself on actual creativity as opposed to reciting a boring plot with movies' annoying appetite for the obligatory sex scene, the girl who can't put on her clothes due to a series of unforseen explosions, and the violent machine gun-weilding assassin.

This movie has heart as Bill Cosby relates funny childhood memories in caricature but not in the silly, stupid nonsensical way that you see with most idiotic comedies nowadays. You will laugh as the mother has her coniption fit and the father laughs when he finds out the children are in trouble.

This movie does bring up childhood memories but in a sweet, nice way that will leave most audience members nodding their heads and laughing. The chocolate cake episode is riot with Bill Cosby relaying how his kids sing his praises and then the dire consequences that follow.

You need to hear it yourself to fully appreciate the humor. Bill Cosby alone is speaking and there are no sideshow characters but that is the brilliance of this standup routine. Bill Cosby is fun to watch and is not mean-spirited or making crazy stereotypes.

I can see how the Cosby Show got its material and why it has been famous throughout the past two decades.
