Review of Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) by Mike H — 04 Aug 2009
I'm a little inclined to agree that this may actually be better than the original. It doesn't try to be as intellectual, but instead allows the plot plenty of room to breathe, and it ends up spinning around Earth, Hell, and Heaven at a perfect pace; characters and tone are done surprisingly well, even if the movie is outdated and even though the plot finishes with a standard '80s populist celebration scene (thanks for that, Return of the Jedi).
