The fact that we never saw these two again has got to be a crime. I think after Indy, Rocky, Rambo and the news that Ghostbusters III is happening I think there's a chance they may come back.
Plus what ever happened to Alex Winter anyway? Also KR's acting these days is like he never left the matrix and could used a third movie (real one having heard of bio-dome recently), what trace of his personality is still left depends on it.
