Review of Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020) by Igan_Deco — 29 Aug 2020
Much like their beloved animated counterparts Beavis and Butt-Head, Bill & Ted are the epitome of 90's goofiness. So, in a typical case of "damned if they do, damned if they don't", the franchise was faced with the conundrum of presenting "more of the same" or capitalizing on the fact that the duo is now comprised of two middle-aged suburban musicians, and thus far removed from the bubbly teens from the sequels.
The film falls somewhere in between, unsure which way to go, and -worst of all- revisits old plots and ideas with little success. It's a movie no one asked, and bound for oblivion.
