Review of Bilal: A New Breed of Hero (2016) by Ethan B — 08 Nov 2016
At the beginning I felt angry, angry for the waste of production money, talents, time, efforts, screens, popcorn etc. Then I just felt sad, because the one big news is that: It is the first big animation production in the Arab world, and that is it, there is nothing else to brag about.
I watched the film, liked Bilal the kid, then he was becoming more boring as he grows, till he became an adult dull doll. Animation quality is good in a couple of scenes seems that they spent all the money on them.
The film claims 4 or five writers, not sure, it seems that each of them was writing some scenes that had nothing to do with the others, the worst film I watched in 2015 so far, and I truly wish I would never waste my time on a movie like Bilal.
