Review of Biggie & Tupac (2002) by James R — 12 Jan 2010
A decent documentary by a professional documentary film maker who seemed quite out of his element. Broomfield rubbed a lot of his interviewees the wrong way and that caused some problems. There were a few interesting archive clips and a couple interviews which were good -- I can't believe they actually went into prison to interview Suge Knight.
The reopening of the case was in part due to the new evidence gathered by Broomfield, so it was cool to see a documentary actually play a part in resolving the issue which probably would have just blown away.
