Review of Bigger Than Life (1956) by Jacob S — 18 Apr 2010
A film about trying to fit into the ambiguous view of the American middle-class suburban lifestyle of the 50s. The characters and even the films' music try to pretend everything's alright or going to be alright while everthing's crumbling around them to an ending the music suggests is pat-happy, but isn't even close.
