Review of Bigger Stronger Faster* (2008) by Steve S — 02 Oct 2008
:fresh: :fresh: :fresh: 1/2 (out of four).
This Sundance hit clears away the garbage and provides and in-depth and balanced looks at steroid abuse and America's obsession with being the best..
Possibly one of the most important and informative documentaries in quite some time, the director turns the lens on himself and his family and their quest to be the best in their various sports ambitions. The views given show an effort to be fair to all sides and not demonize those who choose their lifestyle. I gained understaning and respect for those on all sides of this issue. I especially like the way it put to rest many of the myths and rumors surrounding anabolic steroids. Great job..
