I love this flick.... A classic story of friendship, compellingly beautifully told with a score that still gives me goose bumps whenever I hear it. Busey (who taught himself to swim & then to surf for the role) is outstanding as the irreverent Leroy 'the masochist' & Knatt delivers a career best as the measured & responsible Jack.

Any one who tells you is not any good has no soul & is completely wrong.
