East meets west in this all time classic, that takes the film Zu Warriors as its inspiration. It has all the elements of a great action adventure: it has an intricate story, characters you love and John Carpenters trademark style in his best film.
There is a mixture of magic, shootouts and martial arts. In this film, a Chinese girl is, kidnapped by thugs. This is all the plan of an evil 3000-year-old sorcerer, who plans to use her to make him young again.
It is up a tough truck driver and his plucky friend, to rescue her. Kurt Russell always steals the show, but the other actors also give a stunning performance in this state of the art adventure. The special effects were incredible, especially when it came out.
All John Carpenter and action adventure fans must see this film.
