Review of Big Trouble in Little China (1986) by Bill T — 14 Feb 2011
I've seen this at least 3 times, and, like Buckaroo Banzaii, I'm clearly missing something about the appeal for this. Oh sure, it's John Carpenter's salute to Chinese kung fu movies, but yeah, so what? The dialogue is so over the top, the story is stupid and it's just soooo clever.
Not my cup of tea.
