Review of Big Nothing (2006) by Jerry S — 18 Feb 2008
So with this Flixster thing, I'm only going to review films I've seen since beginning this on Facebok. Films that are probably older that I want to keep track of and recommend to others. The first one is this witty, black comedy.
I don't like the show Friends nor any of the actors of that show necessarily. But Schwimmer didn't bug me. He and Simon Pegg make the perfect foil for each other through what begins as a simple blackmail scheme to get 100k from a priest who spends money on internet porn.
But through miscommunication and a series of tongue in cheek, humorous murders and double crosses, transforms into one extreme situation after another. I actually enjoyed this more than Hot Fuzz and Shawn of the Dead.
And I quite like those films as well.
