Review of Big Nothing (2006) by David Ray G — 23 Jul 2008

I must admit, I am a fan of simon pegg, he is on of those actor that no matter what I see him in, I like it. this film wasnt very comercially successful, however, apparently without this film there would never have been a run fatboy run (because david shwimmer and simon pegg met on this film) anyway, enough of the movie trivia, lets review this film, first of all I liked peggs character, even though he is a yank :) he played it well, shwimmer played a scientist type person (figures) and I did find that his charater was a bit 2d I felt like I had seen it all before.

I really liked the idea of this film, it was on the edge of being a parody but balanced nicley keeping itself in the relm of dark comedy. I felt this film was ok but it did go on for about half an hour longer than it needed to, and then the end of the film was very unsatisfying, I honestly felt a bit confused.

I would recomend that you just watch the first 75% of the film but wheres the use in that? if you really like simon pegg and dark comedies then give this film a try, if you dont then my advice would be to go and watch run fat boy run instead.
