Review of Big Nothing (2006) by Bob L — 03 Jan 2009
Not great, but not bad. If you view this because of Pegg you really should forget his previous work as it will lead to disappointment. As a stand alone it's incredibly dark, which helps support a very weak story, and there are twists at every angle (too many- some of which you see from a mile away).
The humour (and accent) are not Peggs and anyone used to his usual work with Frost and Wright will be let down, but leave those preconceptions in another room and you'll find it passable. Schwimmer is predictable, but I wish Ross from Friends had a plotline like this!
