Review of Big Night (1996) by Philip T — 03 Aug 2008
I recognized Tony Shaloub of 'Monk" fame so I rented this. A great surprise. A simple story with likeable characters. And that damn food made me so hungry just watching it. Honestly, I have never seen a movie where food was so carefully, lovingingly, beautifully presented.
It's really a character by itself. The movie has some slow spots - but it's so nice to watch you don't mind by the end.
