Review of Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son (2011) by Harrison M — 24 Mar 2012
A truly remarkable comedy, that hits on every note. Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son has some of the best dialogue I have heard since Nicolas Cage's performance in The Wicker Man. This dialogue is incredibly sophisticated and well-written.
The comedy had me in tears of laughter as I was laughing so hard at the hilarity of the events and jokes in the film. The make-up for the characters is amazing, I couldn't even tell that Big Momma was Martin Lawrence.
Brandon T Jackson's character is one of the most likeable characters ever presented to the screen, he was terrific, as was his performance. Overall, Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son is an amazing movie that I highly recommend.
One of my favourite movies.
