Well, a co-worker who has not seen it told me it is "sappy" (I had to look up the definition online). If true story + happy ending = sappy then it is. Made me feel old! I remember this story unfolding in national and international news like it was yesterday - but I was reminded tonight it took place about 25 years ago.
Go see it - the photography itself is worth the price of the ticket; the happy ending is even better.
