Review of Big Hero 6 (2014) by Darian T — 03 Oct 2016
Funny, touching, vibrant, and lively; BIG HERO 6 proves that Disney is still the best in the business when it comes to animations. After watching this, it's hard to get excited about any other animation (not even the upcoming Doraemon film) for the same reason that it's hard to imagine any film topping this one.
Likes:
--------.
-The fact that it breaks conventions (such as having an Asian as the protagonist, and the irregular design of the robot).
-Relatively well-developed supporting cast.
-The voice-acting, esp. that of Baymax the robot.
-The bonus animation short, "Feast" at the beginning.
Nitpicks:
-----------.
-Weak villain design.
