Review of Big Hero 6 (2014) by Jason H — 29 Apr 2015
This film is called 'Baymax' in Japan, and it's the first time I think the Japanese name is better than the English one. Sure, there are six heroes, but let's be honest. More than half of this film is about Baymax, and Baymax is amazing.
The characters are nerdy and perfect. The moral lessons are heavy and real. I haven't been so into an artificial life form since Data, from Star Trek: TNG the twists are truly shocking, and there is plenty of action.
Overall, I might like this film more than I did the previous one. The one with the ice and snow. You know the one. I'd love to see either a sequel or a series to Baymax. That would just be printing money for Disney.
