May look like a flimsy throwback to B-movie action flicks but 'Big Game' actually provides entertainment with some of its impressive cinematic shots and peculiar premise. Also it has Samuel L.Jackson in it.

And he's playing the President of the United States! To be fair what film with a black man doesn't have this dude in it, but one thing that always means is guaranteed humour (not necessarily intentional) and quotable lines.

Plot certainly does include its fair share of dumbery, subsequently preventing it from totally transcending the negative attributes of its genre. However most of the appeal comes from the fact it doesn't take itself too seriously and its short running time more importantly means 'Big Game' works delightfully as a small watch.
