Review of Big Fish (2003) by Jacob L — 17 Jan 2012
No review anyone could write could ever do this film justice. It's thought-provoking use of metaphor throughout the duration of the movie is so captivating, to not walk away with a different view of life at the end, is to label yourself ignorant.
Ewan McGregor's performance is phenomenal as he acts out the life of a man (Albert Finney) whose story is larger than life, but only when told by the right person. "He never can tell it right, all of the facts, none of the flavor.
" His life long adventure may not have been entirely a tall tale, but it most certainly wasn't a short one.
